"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'll put it in spoiler font: Charles Martin Smith directed WELCOME TO THE HELLMOUTH (and I think a few others, but that one I know for sure; oddly, he didn't direct THE HARVEST).

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

Charles Martin Smith directed "Welcome to the Hellmouth"?

HA! X-posty winners!!! I've been grooving on the...irony is not the right word... Serendipity? Synchronicity?...ever since I heard he was cast. (working on the assumption that Kristen knew what I was getting at - I've meant to bring it up ever since I heard CMS was cast).

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I like the pace of the show and loved the appearance of two actors from The Wire. I loved the use of "The Hungry Wolf", one of my favorite X songs. I did not like the song in the opening credits, but you can't win everything.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Pretty exciting - I'm all antsy for tomorrow's ep. Though I have to say I called Amy Acker in the back of the truck - mostly because that truck looked like an apartment building on wheels, so it seemed more likely to contain people than cars.

I don't think the waitress/trucker/whoever's to come are random at all.

I didn't like the two women in the threesome that got left behind - well, I didn't like any of the three - but for some reason I was glad to see them still going in the preview.

When they first said Rome I flashed back to the Google driving directions from NY to Paris (step 22 - swim across Atlantic Ocean) that someone posted earlier today.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That was fun! I want the next episode now.

I was very happy to see that the two black contestants we've had focus on so far weren't immediately eliminated from the race for good with their cluelessness being their final character note. That was bugging me until the previews showed them getting back in the game tomorrow.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Liked very much. My dad lives very near Jupiter in Jensen.

Speaking of location, Mr. Jane could swear, and would like conformation, that when they were supposed to be at the Cape that it was Pasadena, and that that building with the gold statue was the headquarters of the Worldwide Church of God (his former church).

It's been over for a little over an hour and I wish I was still watching. Thank goodness for another hour tomorrow.
