Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

I can't even.

So, uh, hi from Canadia. I'd love to resurrect the Atlantic Canadians thread so we early Drive viewers could gloat at each other there, but I don't think there are enough around anymore to even get the thing properly seconded in lightbulbs.

Anyway, reaction to show thingy. I was annoyed enough at the initial format/style/whatever that I wanted to change the channel in the first five minutes, but my interest was piqued and I couldnt. Tried. Wasn't in control of my own remote. Evil thumb controlling tv people. I ended up being all resentful of the commercial breaks and irrationally miffed (as usual) at my Canadian broadcaster because they never (ever) show the "next time, on tv's hit Drive" previews for next episode. Resentful. That's a good thing, right? Yes, yes it is, as it meant I was caught up and wanted to have more show.

I guess I have a new show to watch, dammit. (What? I didn't know. Maybe I might not have liked it?)

When is it on again? I mean, other than Sunday. After that. In Canadia. (I do get Fox on digital, I'm just curious. And would like to pimp it a bit locally.)

Thanks, I'll pass the word to the non-digitized up here.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Well...most people should get a clue!

Preaching to the choir, baby.

but it seems like the vast majority of people talk about Nathan. Overexposure and all.

Do you think anyone is complaining about that?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I've no problem with people talkin' about Nathan - he's the lead. I've been lurking well outside of the official and Browncoat sites for Drive for a while now (gaming sites and the like), and people there generally have no idea who anybody is, much less Tim, and the general opinion is cars == cool. Which I have taken as a good sign.

Drive's online. Approximately 7000 people downloading it at the moment.

Squeegee! I take back what I said about the score, by the way -- on my TV with the sound system on, it sounds much much better than on that Yahoo clip. Title music -- hated it at first. Listened to it a few more times -- it's catchy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me, I'm watching for Brian Bloom. We'll see what the rest of these yahoos have to offer.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Jesse is me. Although, I dreamt last night that Tim killed off Brian Bloom's character in the first five minutes of the show.

TV's hit Drive has upwards of 10,000 downloads and countin'. Preair, that's a really good sign.
