I'd have never thought I'd watch a story about a fucked up guy who's clawing his way to the top, sleeps in a box, is generally an ass, but I'm so madly in love with Profit, I'm beside myself.
Heh, see I don't think Profit could have been more tailer-made for me if they'd called it The Show Made Especially For Jess So She Will Learn The Pain Of Falling In Love With A Show That Fox Will Cancel After Only Four Eps Die Fox Die Die Die You Profit-Cancelling Bastards.
(Also, I lurve the premise of Drive. It's no accident that I'm missing this week's TAR to watch the premiere.)
Is that Danny Bonaduce in that second photo?
Monique, secret confession, I kinda love Danny Bonaduce.

No worries. I won't tell anyone.
Personally, I find him kind of manic, but I don't really mind him. It just seemed like a random thing to be seeing at 8 in the morning. I feel much better now that I know it really was him, and I wasn't projecting some sort of latent Bondaduce thoughts out into the world on a whim.

Cause that would be a sign of an id gone amuck. He is manic, but I liked him when he was a radio guy here a few years ago.
OMG!
Drive
is ALMOST HERE.
I'm a little excited.
Polter Cow is me. I don't think I've been this excited about a show... ever. I'm not sure why, but I am.
Because it's Tim, it's okay to invest in it if it grabs you, because he won't Abrams himself into a corner, leading to lame.
This is the key for me. The premise doesn't matter so much to me, as long as it's done well. Buffy sounded hugely lame to me, until I saw it. Wonderfalls sounded lame to me, but I gave it a shot because of Tim, and loved it. Firefly sounded kinda lame to me, until I saw it because of Joss, and fell head over heals.
On the other hand, Lost sounded good, and it pissed me off so much that I stopped watching after the first season.

I think this is the first show I've ever known about beforehand for a long time before its premiere. I mean, I read the pilot way back in...July or something. So it's been a while.
The cars! Complete with pictures. None of Danny Bonaduce, though.
They've got a '64 Impala.
