That woman is beautiful.
I thought the anchor introduced the segment, saying, "Fox's new hit, Drive," but I re-listened, and he just said "show". I believe I have been well and truly indoctrinated.
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Cindy, please for the love of all that's holy!

P-C, you'll be proud to know that we headed down to Fisherman's Wharf today and did NOT get lost. yay!! we were going to do the Alcatraz thing tomorrow, but it's sold out until sunday afternoon. SO! while we were down at FW, we got tickets for the Bay Cruise Adventure(which takes us under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz and Angel islands). then on saturday, we're taking the Muir Woods tour. i'm excited. i think my friend Phillip is going to take us down to Union Square and Chinatown in a couple of hours. as soon as Jaedyn's done napping.

Nathan introduces a clip from the Drive pilot: [link]
It's the first unedited footage from the show online, I think. And it's neat-o.
I wonder if the actors and everyone else are getting tired of saying the words "illegal cross-country road race" over and over.
In other news, that clip is sweet. I get more excited every time! COME ON, SHOW. GET HERE NOW.
I met Staff Writer and Buffista Kristen on the set of Drive and we hugged! Tim Minear asked me in passing what I thought of the music for the end of episode I Don't Remember the Number! I got free Veggie Sticks! MY LIFE ROCKS! (P.S. I love you guys, because so help me, I would be dead without Buffistas and I would never have gotten to work for Kristin if it hadn't been for Betsy Hanes Perry.) (P.S. 2 I saw the screener for one, and it's marvelously marvelous. I can't wait for more!)
Ahhh, a rare Jengod sighting!
::waves enthusiastically::
You realize I met you and my wife on the same night.
I met you and your wife on the same day!
I totally remember this! (I love Buffista mating by the way. I suspect the resulting offspring will be a race of superbeings. Chosen Ones, even.) Ah, those were the days. Sure, I was 20 lbs. heavier and clinically depressed, but I couldn't go to a Buffy finale party now if I tried, and that's tragical.

FOX are doing a screening of Drive on Wednesday at Universal City in LA, open to all (invites first, though). So you'll see it on a big ass screen before anybody else outside the media scene. [link]
