[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Nathan introduces a clip from the Drive pilot: [link]

It's the first unedited footage from the show online, I think. And it's neat-o.

I wonder if the actors and everyone else are getting tired of saying the words "illegal cross-country road race" over and over.

In other news, that clip is sweet. I get more excited every time! COME ON, SHOW. GET HERE NOW.

I met Staff Writer and Buffista Kristen on the set of Drive and we hugged! Tim Minear asked me in passing what I thought of the music for the end of episode I Don't Remember the Number! I got free Veggie Sticks! MY LIFE ROCKS! (P.S. I love you guys, because so help me, I would be dead without Buffistas and I would never have gotten to work for Kristin if it hadn't been for Betsy Hanes Perry.) (P.S. 2 I saw the screener for one, and it's marvelously marvelous. I can't wait for more!)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ahhh, a rare Jengod sighting!

::waves enthusiastically::

You realize I met you and my wife on the same night.

I totally remember this! (I love Buffista mating by the way. I suspect the resulting offspring will be a race of superbeings. Chosen Ones, even.) Ah, those were the days. Sure, I was 20 lbs. heavier and clinically depressed, but I couldn't go to a Buffy finale party now if I tried, and that's tragical.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

FOX are doing a screening of Drive on Wednesday at Universal City in LA, open to all (invites first, though). So you'll see it on a big ass screen before anybody else outside the media scene. [link]

What is even happening?

So say we all.
