It's not fun, but it's not as bad as you might think. I leave really early to get to work anyway (the joys of school hours), and the Prius makes the 134 a quick ride. The 101 and the 405 are blechy, but I really love both where I work and where I live, so...
And ita, we still need to hook up after I get out of work one day since I'm seconds from your place.
