Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I swear!

If I recall Pruittgate correctly, Jeff didn't so much say it was Joss trying to kill him as that propmaster guy. He characterized Joss as well-meaning but naive, and ceding too much control to the dastardly moustache-twirling villains around him.

He definitely burned his bridges with white phosphorus, but it always left a bad taste in my mouth that Sophia seemed to get fired (or did she quit?) as collateral damage. Despite reassurances to the contrary.

I think that she quit.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's what the parable said.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

When I googled Pruittgate yesterday, Google told me that Jeff's actions were to get Sophia released from contract. However, I have learnt not to believe everything the internet says.

Monique! Hey, I'm pretty good. It's funny, posting again, though. Like I'm not sure what to do.

Allyson - and now you have it.

The only other thing I can remember that was like Pruittgate was after New Moon Rising.

Cindy - I have this strange proprietary feeling for all of ME. I don't watch their shows, but I'm happy that Hannigan and DB have landed successful gigs. Same w/ Espenson, I don't see her new stuff, but she's working and I like to check her blog. Marti, Fury... all the way down the line. But it's Tim, Tim I've come to expect sparkage from.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jeff has very few credits since Buffy. It's very hard for me on the outside of the industry to tell what hurts someone's career on the inside. Is he still in the same line of business and doing poorly? Or moved on?

I miss seeing Petrie's handiwork on my favorite shows.

Nice to see that Sophia's still working a lot though. I didn't realize she was Christina Ricci's stunt double in Cursed!

I wonder if leaving the show might not have been a good career move by virtue of her absence showing people how good she'd been.
