[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What is even happening?

And as I recall, Jeff was online for days, like all weekend. But he and Sophia made the fights rock.
Yes, it did. I was lurking, then. Jaw on the floor. The VIP posts are archived here: [link] Pruittgate starts around mid-May. He popped back in, in June, too. It's too bad the regular posters' posts weren't archived. I remember watching different factions, and being impressed by the people who were trying to shoo the whole thing off the board.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Who knew she could sing?

You're sure you're not thinking of Marni Nixon, right? (My mother and I are forever getting the two names mixed up.)

She's thinking of Marti's OMwF number (trying to get out of a ticket).

What is even happening?

Right. What Frank said. She got the parking ticket. That hydrant wasn't there, and she wasn't wearing underwear.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And she's paid more than her share.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If I recall Pruittgate correctly, Jeff didn't so much say it was Joss trying to kill him as that propmaster guy. He characterized Joss as well-meaning but naive, and ceding too much control to the dastardly moustache-twirling villains around him.

He definitely burned his bridges with white phosphorus, but it always left a bad taste in my mouth that Sophia seemed to get fired (or did she quit?) as collateral damage. Despite reassurances to the contrary.
