That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

ita, that is crazy. I've never met him, myself. Well, I don't think I have; there were a couple of gatherings where I didn't really register who all I was being introduced to. But I love his FT pieces! Especially when he goes on about Shatner.

You should think of some shameful story I can allude to, so as to freak him out. Fun!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh! I'm totally going to hit Colin up for dish, then. My memory is atrocious.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The thing is, that vmars person expresses a view that Marti messed up the final few seasons of Buffy. And they're not alone in that view, I get that. But they seem devout in the belief that they're correct (there's even a reference to 'the truth hurts') and everybody agrees. And they're expressing the opinion in a nice bit of news for Marti, in a place which people actually read. And seem completely unable to comprehend how it might seem bad.

R'argh!

It's not that I'm the only one, it's that I'm the honest one.

The Drivefans counter seems to be wacky in case anyone is interested.

Noted and buck passed to Kevin. Thanks for the heads-up.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Didn't that same thing happen to me last month? With the insulting and the "everybody thinks so" and such?

People. They wank.

Nothing beats Pruittgate.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm not sure I've heard about that one.

Pruittgate?

Wank has extra humour value in my world, due to the British.

Tamara, I've fiddled with the Drive Fans countdown -- thanks. It's still slightly off, as the site is hosted in the UK, so UK time... So it's 32 days here now. Just to confuse people.

Oh god, please take the crazy away on Whedonesque.

Somebody should really do something about that.

Oh man, I have no time to describe Pruittgate. But I was there!

Short:

Pruitt fired from BtVS.

Goes to Bronze.

Says Joss was trying to kill him.

Goes on bender and keeps posting about the conspiracy to have him killed. And terrible working conditions for girlfriend (Buffy stunt double).

Writes The Parable of the Knight, a fairy tale about how awesome he is and what a jackhole Joss and SMG are.

Joss and Fury come out swinging.

ANARCHY.
