Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

No! Let him take a nap. Go! Nap!

Oh. Wait. I'm not his mom.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Well, I guess he can take a nap, he hasn't been able to arrange any character deaths on screen for months, he must be feeling woozy and weak by now...

Woohoo! Thanks, Tim (both for the prompt answer and for fulfilling my "Little Old Lady from Pasadena"-themed hopes for the show).

It is always amusing (or possibly depressing) to go to the Post Office (or, in this case, the Notary Public) on contest deadline dates in LA.

Today, when I went to get my application notarized the woman said, "Oh another Disney Fellowship application! I've been seeing a LOT of those today." But it led to a very nice conversation and then she stamped me, wished me luck and told me to come back and let her know how I did.

But yes. Another year. Another Disney application sent off.

As proof of my superstitious nature, I had a lengthy debate with myself about whether it was good luck or bad luck to sign the application with my consolation pen from last year.

I went with a different pen.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Best of luck this year, Kristen! Have you been reading Jane Espenson's blog at all. It is mostly about writing tips geared toward TV writing and the Disney Fellowship. I find it very interesting to read.

The thing about life is :You can rehearse it all you want, But nobody else ever sticks to the script. So why bother?

Oh Kristen you are entering, too? Cool, good luck. Are you doing any other contests like CBS as well?

Thanks! And yep! Jane's blog is on my daily reading list.

Thanks, Kessie! Did you enter? If so, best of luck!

I'm also going to send it off to Warner Bros. and see if I fare better this year. I didn't submit to CBS or FOX because I couldn't come up with any original samples, that I was happy with, in time.

Thanks.Yep, did enter both CBS and Disney. (And also send something to NBC- they seem to be always accepting stuff) But I don´t get my hopes up. Actually it was Jane´s blog which made me finally submit something. I had written a bunch already but never submitted anything. And now I thought, what the hell, try it!

The FOX one was the one with the Original TV Pilots, right? Well I have written one ages ago with a friend but she doesn´t want to move to the US so it was out of question. And when I saw it, it was already to late to write something new. Don´t know if I´ll do WB , depends on what my money says, cause postage and notary etc cost money and the WB had a fee right?

eta: double post ... sorry
