[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I wish we wouldn't do this. I know it's commonplace on the boards, but it's always just possible that someone of a different political view might end up being a fan of the show.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Fox News has protected minority status now?

Yeah!

Let us stifle simple throwaway joke lines buy calling more attention to them then they needed, and pretend they are a slam on a political belief.

Fox News has been the butt of jokes on the Fox network, so I don't think it's totally uncalled for to call them on their sensationalist practices- this does not even begin to talk about politics, unless you see the Anna Nicole Smith coverage political- and a story about an illegal road race would not be percieved as a political piece.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

but it's always just possible that someone of a different political view might end up being a fan of the show.
Also possible that someone of a different political view might even be a member of the boards.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, if it's not about politics, the implication is that people who watch Fox News are all stupid. I don't think we really need to be doing that here, either.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Totally possibly to have different political views and still see what a crock Fox News is. And I do reserve the right to mock that. That's not about being Republican, Dem, or other, it's about being in the reality-based world.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

*raises hand* not that i watch Fox News, but i am one of those craxy Red Pelicans.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Also possible that someone of a different political view might even be a member of the boards.

Or even a creator of the show.

But Fox News is still a joke.

Yeah, this is more where I was going.
