[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is he going to have a lot of pretty pretty sidekicks?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Pickup -- "Twilight," a drama about a vampire/private eye who's dealing with the fallout from being immortal, his foes in the vampire world and a budding love for a mortal. Joel Silver is exec producing via Warner Bros. TV. Trevor Munson ("Lone Star State of Mind") and Ron Koslow ("Beauty and the Beast") wrote the script and will exec produce.

They're totally copying Forever Knight!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I started to wish the producers ill for retreading the idea when Angel hasn't really moldered in its grave yet. But then I realized this show will probably be a lightning rod for the attention of all the Spike fangirls, and I couldn't come up with any curses more poetic than that.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hopefully, the ones who tormented me (or tried to) at Whedonesque in my book thread. Completely off their rockers.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Truly, Matt, that is a curse worthy of the Empress.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

They're totally copying Forever Knight!

I thought of Angel, myself. Which Zap2It did too, it seems.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I thought of Angel, myself.

I was making a joke, what with Angel being the obvious point of reference at this board. Plus the old gripe among Forever Knight fans that Angel was a ripoff. And if I keep explaining this joke I'm sure it'll get funnier and funnier. That's how it works with humor.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, P-C is a bit young for Forever Knight.

Funnily, I thought of it first.
