Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

hip deep in pie

Despite both being Jossverse alums, Nathan and Amy have never worked together, have they? Or am I forgetting something?

They were in that episode of Bufffy that Tim wrote.

Sorry, I can't resist an obvious joke.

What is even happening?

I don't want to spoil the rest of the time I sat around feeling terribly in-the-way.

Party pooper.

I didn't say that there were no pirates or monkeys! Just that I didn't suggest adding more.

So the pirate & monkey ratio may have been adequate, but was it optimal, Strega?

Nathan and Amy have never worked together, have they?

Maybe on an episode of Justice League Unlimited.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Maybe on an episode of Justice League Unlimited.

I'm trying to think. I don't recall there being an episode with both Huntress and Vigilante in it. Amy did work with Morena on a couple of episodes, though.

Allyson, I have noticed NO CALLS on my cellphone.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I missed Nathan by a couple hours.

Fun thing: I was able to introduce Strega by, "(Real name) is the Drive recapper for TWoP."

And so she was treated like a rock star.

Not me though.

I yelled at Tim that he wasn't paying enough attention to me and he ignored me and went inside and shut the door.

Also, "So how do you know Tim?"

"Internet."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Ah sounds like a fun day.

People asking you how you know Tim, is such a wide open door for crazy made-up stories. I would be too tempted to start, "well there was this weekend in Vegas...." or "His mom wanted him to have some friends in LA so..."

Strega suggested that since we had notepads, we should just tell people we were auditors.

"Yeah, um, how many people do you really need to roll a car onto the set? Also, has OSHA approved those cables running across the cardboard? Is Wardrobe aware of the flame retardant threshold of halter tops?"

Well, the optimum number of pirates and monkeys is purely theoretical, since it would be more monkeys and pirates than the universe could actually contain.

And so she was treated like a rock star.
If, when you meet rock stars, you make jokes about Aaron Sorkin. And for all I know, maybe you do. I did get a tasty Dr. Pepper, too.

Not me though.
You could have had a Dr. Pepper if you'd wanted one.

The status is NOT quo.

Still sound like a pretty cool trip, no Dr. Pepper nothwithstanding.
