"People die in this race. Sometimes because of it."
That's a good hook.
'A Hole in the World'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
"People die in this race. Sometimes because of it."
That's a good hook.
It's a Tim show. Of course people die! And now he has Kristen for extra special death.
(But yeah...good hook.)
Or, possibly a paraphrase of one...
Maybe they'll show another promo so I can confirm.
It was very quick cuts, characters talking over action shots of, well, cars. Action-y.
It's a Tim show. Of course people die! And now he has Kristen for extra special death.
Death by Bedazzler.
You're very close, Jen. (Assuming it's the promo I think it is.)
"People die in this race. Sometimes they die because of it."
And now he has Kristen for extra special death.
Geez, I need to pitch more death at work. Apparently, I've got a rep to protect.
ETA: But I can still kill a thread like nobody's business.
Loyalty to Tim(and Kristen) will make me watch a show, but it has to win my love on its own merits. For Firefly that happened in the premiere's last scene, for Wonderfalls it was a done deal halfway into the revised pilot's teaser, and for The Inside it took several episodes before everything gelled for me. That track record and the awesome cast suggest I'll get there with Drive as well, but it's not a foregone conclusion.
With adjustments for exact moments of falling in love, I am Matt.
I described it (badly, but got the gist across) to my mom and she got all excited. She has no loyalty to Kristen or Tim. According to her , it's her kind of show (she likes cars, arcs and characters.) Unfortunately, I don't think they get FOX in too clear with the rabbit ears...
Kristen, it's death cred by association.
(she likes cars, arcs
OMG! They're anagrams!
