[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

could we be...Concubines?
Crazy?
Absolutely, but that's not new.
Cute?
Ditto.
Cu...
HEY!!!
Cindy, did my review of the pilot script not give you enough of a feel? I haven't seen the unaired pilot, but I get the sense that it's a very fast-paced show where things are always at risk for the characters because they're always rushing to the next checkpoint, but while the present action is moving along at a brisk pace, the audience has the secondary journey of learning why each character is racing, be it voluntary or not, and what's really going on behind the scenes of the Race.
I think Lost meets The Amazing Race is a pretty accurate way of describing the general sense/feel of the show. Although it's more The Amazing Race meets Lost.
Could we be ....
Carrot-eaters?
Cu...Watch your mouth! You've got children. Leave the swearing to me. I've had practice.

I didn't read it, either because I thought the show was getting picked up soon, and didn't want to be spoiled, or because I didn't think the show was getting picked up soon, and thought I would forget. It's also possible I did read it, and did forget. Hmmmm.
I pity the people who don't know Tim's reputation, and don't realize the risk is a real one.
Watch your mouth! You've got children. Leave the swearing to me. I've had practice.Sadly, I have too. Three times today, I said something was a 'pain in balls'. That's not generally one of my preferred expletives, so I'm not sure where it came from -- except [whatever it was] really was a pain.
Meanwhile, Scott's so freaked out by the Pats game, he just said he's looking forward to tonight's 24, so he can relax. And he doesn't even groove on whispering Jack Bauer, in quite the same way I do.
I don't think.
Apparently I did read it, and liked it, P-C, as I commented twice. I'm too tired to read it again, right now. I was hoping for instant gratification, in this thread.
I just saw a Drive promo during 24!!!
Just now!
Awesome.
"People die in this race. Sometimes because of it." (Or something like that.)
Dude!
waits for YouTube
"People die in this race. Sometimes because of it."
That's a good hook.
It's a Tim show. Of course people die! And now he has Kristen for extra special death.
(But yeah...good hook.)
