[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Okay, pretend I don't already love Tim, Kristen, and Nathan.
Convince me to watch TV's hit, Drive.
Okay, pretend I don't already love Tim, Kristen, and Nathan.
I would think that this would be the hard part.
And whoot, Allyson! Weird, yes, but still cool.
Good question, Cindy. I honestly have no real feel for the show.
Convince me to watch TV's hit, Drive.
Cars. Conspiracies. Collaboration. Competition. Cuties. Crashes. Codes. Clues. Cougars.
Cass, I think P-C is sending us secret, coded messages, possibly subliminal ones.
I'm with Cass though; I have no feel for the show, yet. Someone give me something to sing about.
Cass, I think P-C is sending us secret, coded messages, possibly subliminal ones.Cindy, that's crazy. Could we be .... Um, I need a c word here. Any writers in the thread?
could we be...Concubines?
Possibly. But we need to unionize if so, because I'm not feeling the pay, either.
Crazy?
Absolutely, but that's not new.
Cute?
Ditto.
Cu...
HEY!!!
Cindy, did my review of the pilot script not give you enough of a feel? I haven't seen the unaired pilot, but I get the sense that it's a very fast-paced show where things are always at risk for the characters because they're always rushing to the next checkpoint, but while the present action is moving along at a brisk pace, the audience has the secondary journey of learning why each character is racing, be it voluntary or not, and what's really going on behind the scenes of the Race.
I think Lost meets The Amazing Race is a pretty accurate way of describing the general sense/feel of the show. Although it's more The Amazing Race meets Lost.
Could we be ....
Carrot-eaters?
Cu...Watch your mouth! You've got children. Leave the swearing to me. I've had practice.
