She didn't even touch her pumpkin. It's a freak with no face.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I can't believe I had to find out you arrived safely out here in public, with all the little *people*.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

with all the little *people*.

She should've called your agent.

Seriously.

I'm just getting to email now; this was easier! Sheesh.

Also, do you have a car or do I have to chaffeur your ass all over Los Angeles? Again?
I'm 90% sure we have a pool of rentals for the staff. I'll confirm that when I go downstairs this afternoon. And/or I bet I can cadge a ride off of Daniel to somewhere considerably more convenient. I swear that you won't have to drive across town 6 times in 12 hours again.

But let's not forget whose fault that was. Ahem.

You should come down here for breakfast at some point, though. Oh, but they gave me a single this time. We might be able to construct a second bed out of all these pillows, though. Or I may wind up switching rooms after the first training.

If I only had a brain...

Well, here comes the prettiest baby ever, the baby so radiant that even Buffista babies will be thrown into the shade of its glory:

Laurence Fishburne and his wife, Gina Torres, are expecting their first child, the actor's spokesman, Alan Nierob, said Monday.

I was more concerned about the burden of cool factor on this impending child.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That will be mighty purty baby. But, ahem, we's got us some mighty purty babies amongst the buffistas.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm sure it will be cute and unbelievably cool, but my cherub is pretty tough to out adorable.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

For those of you who won't/can't get Entertainment Weekly, the content from the current magazine has been published to the site. You can find the article about TV's hit Drive here.
''A car can be funny,'' he says. ''A car can be sad. A car can be scary. Or fast, or slow, or ironic —
Ironic cars? That never goes well. I can't wait!

If anybody was watching the BCS National Championship game on FOX, they just aired a promo for TV's hit Drive. Pretty generic, though there was some footage from the scapped pilot (I assume); kinda reminded me of the early Firefly ads, but not quite as bad.
