If anybody was watching the BCS National Championship game on FOX, they just aired a promo for TV's hit Drive. Pretty generic, though there was some footage from the scapped pilot (I assume); kinda reminded me of the early Firefly ads, but not quite as bad.
None of it means a damn thing.

Drive promo!
I saw a preview for Drive during the BCS game tonight. It was pretty good and I didn't even know what it was until the end, when they flashed the name. I didn't see Nathan though, but they went through it pretty quickly. Fox is airing the same things pretty much back to back so you might catch it.
ETA: I'm surprised FOX are promoting something with 4 months to launch, without casting complete etc. Surprised, but impressed.

I think it might be an old promo. A few weeks back, I heard that they were running them during football. But I've yet to see one on TV myself.

The good news - there's a press release on the wire right now saying Drive has been moved forward to March 1st, taking the lead with FOX's mid season schedule. The bad news - Tim's credits: Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
It looks like it's Thursday night at 9pm, after the American Idol results show (which will be about 30 million people). So, no pressure.
