Happy Birthday, ita!
The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
Well, Monique points out that if it's a girl, we can name her Dixie.
I had a feral cat once. Somebody gave me it. I think they hated me. It used to scratch my hands off if I tried to pick it up. And after a few months, it jumped out a window in my flat, and ran off (well, I presume it did - I never found it again).
Also, happy birthday ita!
My cat is an ex-feral kitten. He sits in my lap and is all affectionate and nice and is wonderful to be around. Until he bites my hand with no warning. Much like a script written by Tim.
That sounds like Megan's recently departed Jimmy, Betsy.
Overstimulation is an ugly thing. I figure he missed out on Kitten Social Skills 101.
Tomorrow may well be my last day without Fox for a while, since my local Fox affiliate is apparently owned by a jackass, and the local cable station is being petulant.
If Fox doesn't stream "Drive," we'll be setting up a tape tree for me, right? Because I am loved? Even if I'm not cute enough to be sponsored?
I'm sure there will be tapes. And online streaming.
Betsy - my girlfriends cat does that. It'll sit being pretty, and then just BITE you.
The smear campaign between the two entities is just so darn annoying. At first it was amusing to see the cable company advertise on all the other channels about how the affiliate owner just didn't care about "us." And then watch the affiliate run commercials about how other companies have paid their fees, and my cable company won't "listen to reason."
But now I've got sites and stuff that will need updating, and I won't be able to watch the shows with everyone else. Or the promos for the shows!
Yes, it's all about me. Why won't these multimillion-dollar organizations realize that?
95 new in here and it's (mostly) all about the twins. I love that.
