[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.
I guess driver's side, near the door and floor. Is it a car from the late seventies/early eighties? There were some design elements given the gas crisis that made it harder to steal gas.
I think it was probably an '84

Mom raced in rallies, I don't know what kind of car they drove. That's the kind where you're competing with other teams on a kind of scavenger hunt. She drove and her best friend Mac navigated. He was a cool English dude. I had a crush on him.
Here in New Jersey, it's illegal to pump your own gas. When I first moved here from the South, I couldn't believe there were grown people who didn't know how to pump gas.
It's not that difficult, though. I mean...you squeeze the handle. The end.
Seriously. A friend of mine joined me for a visit down South and I watched her try to pump gas. She didn't even know to squeeze the handle. I guess if you've never even watched someone do it, it could be baffling.

aurelia, good point. I'll add that into my email proposal.

That is so frakkin' cool.
