That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

She is indeedy serious:

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

BOYS in our Drivers Ed classes.

There were definitely boys in my Driver's Ed class. I know, because I spent all of that semester flipping through Corvette magazines with one. And then, on the last day (I took Driver's Ed at the end of my senior year.) he called me out into the hallway and completely unexpectedly laid the biggest kiss ever on me. I never saw him again. Turned out later he did jail time for sleeping with a minor.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Kat, those are some lucky twins, to have a mama like you.

Congratulations, and may the rest of the pregnancy go smoothly.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Congrats, Kat. I'm a twin and it has almost always been a total joy having a wombmate.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Congrats, Kat and Lori. I'm delighted to read your family is growing.

I went to an all girls school that went co-ed my junior year. Those poor boys.

My school had NO driver's ed. We did have home ec though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My mom made me learn to drive on a stick shift. I think I still could, even though I've driven nothing but automatics for years. Mom also insisted that I learn how to change my own oil and tires and such like. She'd had too many mechanics try to rip her off because they didn't expect a woman to know anything about cars. Little did they know, Mom was a former race car driver.

Kat, double squeee! Twins, how cool.
