This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

As a writer, you can crush dreams from a distance. It's a better fit for the introverted sadist.

Hey! I like to crush their dreams up close. Usually by bludgeoning them with a copy of the style guide ...

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Standoff actually got off to a start, ratings wise, off the back of House. 9 million odd viewers. However it's leaking audience quite badly. For once FOX actually launched a show properly, though.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Actually, looking at it, 4 episodes in it's at 8.1m which isn't too bad. Let's face it, it's about 4 times as many viewers as Firefly had 4 episodes in.

What's 8.1? Last Tuesday, Standoff had a 5.1 with an 8% share.

But you knew Alan Ruck was in Drive before now, right? Someone's mentioned that in this thread before, I think.

Totally didn't remember. Alan Ruck doesn't stick in my brain. Hell, I have to be reminded he was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

What is even happening?

I had no idea he was that old, not that he's old, but per imdb, he was 29 when he was in FBDO. Of course, per imdb, he's also married.
