I think they hate what he did to the show, which is different from hating the difference between the movie and the show.
Unless the original movie featured Amber Benson's still-living character in some scene I missed, anyway.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but my favorite will always be the guy who asked Moore, "When you were following your dream to become a writer, did you ever think that someday you would be using it to crush the dreams of others?"

I don't know. I think there are better professions to follow if you want to crush dreams. Like teacher, or therapist, or network executive.
Or the DMV.
Those all require you to deal with people face to face.
As a writer, you can crush dreams from a distance. It's a better fit for the introverted sadist.
