And maybe Paul Ruebens.
Eh, I suspect he could get behind the change even thought it meant his phenomenal death scene would never fit the show except in a AU-or-otherwise-reality*-bending episode (why do I always type epidose?)
*reality as defined by the series
eta The whole "Kill him! A lot!" would have fit Spike to a T if he'd lost an arm.
I think they hate what he did
to
the show, which is different from hating the difference between the movie and the show.
Unless the original movie featured Amber Benson's still-living character in some scene I missed, anyway.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but my favorite will always be the guy who asked Moore, "When you were following your dream to become a writer, did you ever think that someday you would be using it to crush the dreams of others?"
Bless their fevered brains.
"When you were following your dream to become a writer, did you ever think that someday you would be using it to crush the dreams of others?"
That's why I became a writer. For sure.
There are other reasons to become a writer?
"When you were following your dream to become a writer, did you ever think that someday you would be using it to crush the dreams of others?"
I don't know. I think there are better professions to follow if you want to crush dreams. Like teacher, or therapist, or network executive.
