Damn, that Fox schedule is confusing.

The production hiatus also will allow Tim Minear, who has come aboard "Standoff" as a consulting producer, to get up to speed.

squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Damn, that Fox schedule is confusing.

ah, the beauty of the Tivo. They'll find it. Although, it would be nice if they created a function that showed what other season passes or shows are on at that time.

Trust my rage

we need a scheduling matrix of some sort. I hate the way Tivo will just blithely skip something and not tell you.

If wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak.

and I'm assuming Justice, which is on at 9 on Wednesdays, will either shift or go on hiatus.

Justice is already on hiatus. It's not off to a great start.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh, bah. I thought Standoff was *terrible*. I tried to watch the pilot, mostly for Gina Torres and Ron Livingston, who I adore, and developed an instant hate-on for the two main characters 15 minutes into the show. The writing was pretty dire as well. Tim's involvement would usually mean I'd give anything a try, but with this one, I may have to pass. The scheduling opposite VMars is not helping, either.

Damn, I was looking forward to Drive.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The tiny bit of the show that I watched made me hope Ron Livingston's character would die in a fiery explosion. I didn't want to stick around and see if that effect could grow strong enough to challenge my affection for Gina Torres.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, Standoff's first few minutes were pretty unbearable. Couldn't tell you whether any subsequent minutes were more watchable.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My brain was so offended by the whole thing. I think Tim's best bet is to have everyone killed in a giant explosion and have Gina's character roast marshmallows.

Or, as what happened to The Initiative, she should at least salt the earth.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I see were in for another of Fox's attempts to subvert its own fan base by making it hard to remember when something airs.

I had a sinking feeling when I realized that most of my favorite shows this year were on Fox. Damn.

I don't hate Standoff, and kind of have some hope that Tim might be able to make it worthwhile. I'll miss Justice though. There were some annoying things about it, but I thought the characters were kinda interesting and I kinda liked the conceit of them telling the "truth" at the end.
