Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

The Minearverse 5: Closer to the Earth, Further from the Ax

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So you won't do a very good job of hurting them?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I volunteer to hold them down while you hurt them, Matt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

P-C has evidently not been hurt badly yet.

Not by others, anyway. He seems to be good at hurting himself with the whole serial shoulder dislocation deal.

It's so not the same when you do it to yourself.

Hey, both those shoulders were dislocated FOR me.

Oh, right, I'd recalled the weird and random and forgotten the involvment of others. Though they weren't inflicted with malice or intent, so it's a whole other animal, really.

sumi, I am finally caught up on (and pissed off about) RS! I am torn between wanting the people I hate GONE and wanting the people I like GONE for their own protection. Storm, Magni and Toby are too freaking good for SuperAssholes. I'd start a drinking game for everytime I say, "Shut up, Gilby," but I fear it would cost me my liver.

My mood will hopefully be improved by watching the Steve Hodel/Black Dahlia episode of 48 Hours Mystery again. James Ellroy never fails to crack my shit up.

This may be a sign that I've seen this particular episode one too many times.

Art Crawl!!!

Are you looking forward to or dreading the Black Dahlia movie?

I want to see it -- that and Hollywoodland.

Gilby - I used to like him, but not I just think he's got the most pedestrian taste EVER. Magni was just incredible last night. And so was Storm. . .but I bet she's going to wind up in the bottom three.

Ryan was completely completely cheesie - and they loved him. What is up with that?

(Because they are the Cheese.)
