It's just an object. It doesn't mean what you think.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Does that mean ita and I aren't troublemakers?

you singled me out.
you singled ita out.
you said "the rest of you are just troublemakers".
ita and I can't be part of "the rest of you"
therefore, ita and I aren't troublemakers.

I think that was just fine deductive reasoning

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Yoy know, when I see a sudden 32 posts in Minearverse, I expect news that Drive has been picked up, or that our ponies are being delivered. Instead, we're involved in a Be Specific pile-on about thread nannying.

WHATEV.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If the fact that we have a Firefly thread has no bearing on space talk here, what bearing does the fact that we have a sci fi talk have on space talk here?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If the fact that we have a Firefly thread has no bearing on space talk here, what bearing does the fact that we have a sci fi talk have on space talk here?

Huh?

Here is my motivation: posts in the Most Relevant Thread Possible (MRTP). Stargate talk's MRTP is Boxed Set. Firefly's MRTP is Firefly. Moon Is A Harsh Mistress's MRTP is here, not books or movies or writing or whatever. The end.

There used to be sense in that post. It fled with both editing and a migraine.

As far as I'm concerned, the existence of a Firefly thread has nothing to do with the appropriateness of Firefly talk here. This is as good a place by virtue of the thread description, and, really unless a thread description says otherwise, it's appropriate anywhere.

If future Buffistas can't handle that, they need to go to more perfect worlds.

And then in my mind, I am all, why would there be Firefly discussion anyway. Cause it been off for years and seriously.
