Oooh, enforcement power. Makes job good!
Had interview yesterday. Went pretty well, I think. But now I must write the dreaded Thank-You letters, times four. Yuck. I hate thank-you letters even more than cover letters, I always want to say something rude like, I adored the opportunity to discuss being your minion and servicing you with a smile.
I have a teeny baby kitty asleep on the wireless router by the 'puter. She needs to rest up after her frentic jumping-bean performance earlier. Star Wars nerds may appreciate how funny we think it is when we point at her and say, "You-teenie!"
All five volumes of the full color english translation of the manga for Spirited Away. $10.
Soooooo jealous.
NINE MONTHS? Oh HELL to the NO. Of course, this one was only supposed to last "four to five days", but I've been on jury duty since last Monday.

I think they told my mother the case would be six weeks. It was a big child abuse/daycare center case, so it had the added trauma of testimony from little children about Bad Things Done to Them.
When I went for my Fitness & Character interview for the NY Board of Bar Examiners many years later, my interviewer turned out to be one of the lawyers for the defendants.
Morning. The minute I realized I was awake today, I also realized I had a splitting headache and lots of pain. Can I just skip today? Dave has a job interview this evening and this is the first day this week I haven't had anything that requires me leaving the house. ION, financial aid forms suck. IObetterN, I got a ton of unpacking done this week. I may actually be all unpacked in this apartment, before we decide to move again.

So that's the last day of school over and done. OMG. Where did the year go?
ion, in the Annual Paper Plate Award Ceremony (which we've just had in TGI Friday's beside the Nile) I was presented with the "Co-ordinated Beyond Belief" Award.
I'm very proud. I wear my Issues on my sleeve. Hell, my issues
are
my sleeves.
I don't even know what I was playing.
I am considering buying all three Rilo Kiley CDs because I love them so much yet have no CDs, and I'm on the three-month Amazon Prime trial, so I get free two-day shipping. They're really devious with this thing, because it's totally making me want to buy more stuff from them, those bitches. But it won't be worth paying $76 a year for it, since I don't buy enough to make that worthwhile.
Making money makes me feel all spendy, except I feel bad for buying so much for myself when I'm still supposed to get gifts for, like, half my family, but it's easier to buy things for myself because I know what I want!
Wow...does that mean "pulled-together" or "flexible"? Cause I'm trying to figure out if I missed an opportunity in San Francisco.
