Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Good. Although I worry about that....might be the same kind of thinking that keeps Commander Bunnypants there from reading the paper. But I figure if I'm ever on the news like he is, I'll pay more attention... my equilibrium is worth something too, and it's not like I'm not soaking in his point of view around here.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'll stick with the World Cup game on the radio.

I just got the sweetest email from my future boss! Awesome.

Art Crawl!!!

-t - sorry I wasn't around for most of yesterday. I've been trying to keep up with the TWOP forums I usually read and my computer has been protesting by kicking me out of IE - constantly.

Tornado season: roughly March through October. Not that you can't have tornados at other times, but that's the time of year when conditions that produce tornados are more likely to happen.

The ant thing: be sure to clean the area that the ants are entering with something that will cover or erase the scent trail. I used Simple Green and it seems to have worked.

My week off is going okay. I've slept lots, read some, watched bad daytime tv and my back is mostly better. Sadly, my foot and ankle seem somewhat the worse for wear.

Fabulous! What's the timeline for starting there? Are you going to get your vacation July 4th week?

We have morning orb, rather than morning fog -- yippee!

eta: In the Boo! department, this is right below my office:

Some repair work has arisen in rm. 145 that requires immediate attention. Unfortunately, the repairs require that more concrete sawing and jackhammer take place; this is currently scheduled for today.

it looks like I'll be able to do the July 4th thing, but waiting on approval from my current dept., they'd have to extend my termination date. Which they're willing to do, I'm just waiting on final confirmation.

Thrive to spite them

Can I have some healing~ma for my co worker's mother? She has to start radiation treatments because they found out she has bone cancer. She's already survived breast cancer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, I just did my first truly stupid thing of the day.

At least I'm not at work yet.

eta: healing ma, askye. That poor woman.
