Thanks, Nicole. I ended up going back to sleep when I failed to wake Dave up, so now I am just getting back up and we have a ton of stuff to do before I head down to RI. I'll probably call you tomorrow. It's nice to know that you're a phone call away though.
Raq, you could never look momish. Modelish maybe, but not momish.
Nice.
I have always loved stuff that smelled nice, but despite being fifteen, I had no idea that anyone would want to kiss me, ever, so I left that stuff home.
Lip gloss goes very well with tiaras.
A man's got to draw the line
somewhere
!
AND THAT LINE IS NOT ABOVE HIS EYES.
Ah! So...TAL, then, surely?
D'oh!
Hey! What about Keira Knightley's Domino look?
That totally works for me too.
Crap...due to the power of suggestion, I think I may be getting a UTI. Here's hoping my anti-spasmodics are still viable enough to get me through the night until pharmacies open tomorrow.
It's Haagen-Dazs giveaway time. I got a free cup of Strawberries and Champagne and a pint of (not free) Chocolate Midnight Cookies. Which is now off-limits until UTI-ness is determined. And for some reason they gave me two glasses that say Haagen-Dazs on them...well, sort of glasses. They said "here are two glasses" but they look like bud vases.
AND THAT LINE IS NOT ABOVE HIS EYES.

Oh, goddamnit. I certainly did not mean to share.

I'm definitely more comfortable with something a little messier and with less of a severe line. Also, because I'm apparently twelve, I tend to think something that looks a little bit like tousled bedhead is sexy.

Heh.
Oh, I don't want to over schedule him,
Just to be clear, I know this. I just didn't want you going down the whole "I'm a bad mom" route, because YOU ARE SO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
but I don't want to make my mom responsible for him all summer. She is the only adult who will be home, that is when she is not in the hospital. With her health, I don't want to depend on her 100%.
That's different. Also, CJ is around my Ben's age, right (ten)? I think he's probably going to have his last magical summer this year, just because of the energy-to-burn issues that Sparky mentioned.
Last summer, he wasn't big on going outside for whatever reason, and he's the kind of kid I try not to push to do anything (that ought to be fun) because it immediately sounds not fun to him, unless he thinks it up on his own. But then he was turning into a little stress puppy--upset about everything, all the time, so I finally told him I thought that was because he needed to go out more often, stay out longer, and move his body, more. By a certain point in the summer, I had him take the younger kids for walks around the block, a couple of times a day.
When he moves around, he doesn't get stressed out. When he stays in too much, we ALL get stressed out.
I am eating a square of swiss chocolate (24 hours ago - it was still in Switzerland) with crushed hazelnuts.
I can now die.
