Spike: Or maybe Captain Forehead was feeling a little less special. Didn't like me crashing his exclusive club, another vampire with a soul in the world. Angel: You're not in the world, Casper.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, leg cramp is ghastly.

I KNOW! I finally called my mom about a half hour ago to see what else I could try. She was kind of annoyed that I woke her until I told her why I called. Then she was all, "Poor baby!" She gets them like something awful, so she totally understood.

Manatees have been taken off the endangered species list. Does that mean I can take one home as a pet now?

All is well that ends in pizza.

lso, you know what's really cruel? When your body decides at 5:30am that it needs to give you a really awful leg cramp. I've spent the last hour and a half trying to stretch the damn thing out. It's doing better, but it still hurts. And I was gonna sleep in today.

Potassium. Electrolytes. If you have some potassium-based salt substitute in the house, a quarter or half teaspoon of that, washed down quickly with water will help a lot.

Bananas. Smoke 'em if you got em.

The Doctor: Don't drop the banana!
Jack: Why not?
The Doctor: Good source of potassium!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Hil, I hope you start feeling more hydrated soon. Sounds uncomfortable.

I, too, am jealous of Cass. My daughter's roller derby league will be participating in a tournament in Seattle in September, and I was hoping for a good reason to travel there, but she didn't sign up to be part of the travelling team this year. I'm bummed.

Sleep~ma to all the Bitches who are having trouble sleeping. I'll include myself in that list. Kept waking up during the night and every time I fell asleep I started dreaming about cats chasing mice. In one dream I found not only my own cats chasing what seemed like a herd of mice, but at least two other cats that looked like Tucker that had gotten into the condo somehow. Verra wierd.

ION, the mouse and/or its carcass is not evident. Guess I'm going to have to go on an extended search to see if I can find it. Sigh.

move out and draw fire

Sail, congrats to your daughter on the roller derby victory!

Leg cramps are the most heinous thing. We hates them.

Dropped R off at the airport early this a.m. Mal and I have had a pretty good day - played, lunch al fresco (chicken piccata on the back porch), played more.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{vw}}} Leg crap~ma.

{{{Hil}}} Feel better.

Poor Emmett, but yay for the rest of the game.

Cass, it sounds like you had a great evening.

I'm missing things because I am not quite awake yet, and I forgot to keep track. I am having that nasty stabby feeling in my lower legs today. It has been just a dull pain for the last couple of weeks, but last night it picked up intensity and kept me awake.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I got my package today

Yay! I felt bad that we didn't get it out that first day, then it got hidden in my van. Then I wanted to add a treat as an apology, but I wasn't sure what to add - all my original ideas were impractical.

I got to sleep in this morning! Then DH called to tell me how late K-Bug's practice is going to go. I love my kid - but I DON'T CARE. CJ and I are hanging out, chores will happen later, but right now we are watching Serenity (he picked it).
