Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

More hydrating. Check.

Just noticed ants in my kitchen. Ew.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Just noticed ants in my kitchen. Ew.

Adding insult to injury. I try to remind myself that they are also God's creatures and have a beauty all their own, but alas, when it comes to ants I just don't see it.

ants are lovley - as long as they are outside. In Ca, which is one giant ant hill, you sometimes havee to allow the equillibrium trail. If you let them stay on one trail , they stay there. disturb the trail - and they are all over the house.

I saw a manatee and a baby!!!

ROCK!!! That's so cool.

My DH showed me the Cat vs. Bear photo about 5 minutes before it hit Buffistas...I too was coming here to link it. New Jersey cats are mas macho. One of my friend's cats, also in NJ, leapt on a deer. Last we saw was the full-size deer bounding away with the tiny tiger stuck to its ass.

ha. I've been ingmail chat with my sister, getting very tired. but suddenly, i remembered her last post had been in italy, so i had to ask her about fernet ( she didn't know it by name, but there were many things people gave her to eat and drink that she really didn't know what they were)

I am a bit put out about random things. I'm making our reservations to go to Moldova for this wedding, and my flight choices either involve 6 hour layovers or arrive at 4:30 am.

And I finally re-located a classical station, but 10 minutes after I tuned in they changed to Mel Torme and George Gershiwn. Not the same!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm hearing birds singing. And I'm still not asleep. Blech.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sleeeeeeeeep ChiKat.

It is way late but this is not insomnia posting. This is "damn I had a fabulous night in a big foofy skirt surrounded by other pretty people with dancing and fabulous stage shows" posting. Jilli has stumbled to her bed and I am following to my room shortly. The cats, or at least Kittenish, are flumped in a pile of petticoats.

eta: Suzi, I got my package today and you are fabulous! My hairdryer is safely back home after its extended Bay Area vacation and the candle smells just wonderful. It is in one of the shrine-y areas of a bookcase currently but will give its nummy life of scent and fire soon. Thank you so much!
