Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Sail, that's not evil. That's entertainment.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, darn! I want to be evil just once in my life. Ima pout, now.

I want to stay up so I can dispose of the mouse corpse once it's dead, but I'm so damn tired. I think I'm going to have to hope that Tanner leaves it somewhere easy for me to find in the morning. Eau de dead mouse is not at all pleasant.

Oh, no! Okay, you're evil! Also, naughty. I've SEEN the naughty in action.

Didna need to be said twice.

I had a good day today. Slept in, baked a cake then went to my first sewing class. I was supposed to go tomorrow, but the teacher called and said I was the only one registered for the Sunday class and asked if I could switch to the Saturday afternoon class. So, I did.

We went over how to thread the machine and do basic stitches and zigzag stitches. We picked out all our supplies and bought patterns and fabric. We're all making skirts, but we could pick any skirt pattern as long as it was an elastic waistband.

We went over patterns and how to lay out the pieces and then we cut out our skirts.

Next week, we will sew them! Lookee me, all sewy!

Then, after class, I went to a friend's house. He grilled filet mignon's and baked potatoes. We played bridge and ate my cake. And, I won! I rarely win because my luck at getting good cards really sucks.

Good day.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Curses - came here to share the cat bear thing, but of course y'all know already. Am MOST impressed. Will be telling The Cat Daniel all about it this evening.

I think that The Minions of Vicodin should be a band.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Also quite impressed at the cat bear thing.

I've been feeling sick all day. No clue why -- I know I was dehydrated before, but now I'm just feeling sick. Still incredibly thirsty, but there's no way I can still be dehydrated -- I've been drinking water since about 4.

However, I'm watching an All in the Family marathon, which makes many things better.

Chikat, that sewing class sounds great.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for good days, Chikat!

eta: sorry you aren't feeling better, Hil.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Am also very pleased with the cat bear story, and even more so with the picture. There may be some judicious forwarding going on!

I feel like such a lurker lately. In my defense, work is crazy, I'm on our building committee at church, and we nearly hit 80 today, which is ungodly hot for here. I miss you folks, though!

Hmm. Just had another two glasses of water, and feeling a tiny bit better. No clue what's up with this.
