How do you feel about folding laundry?
I think I'll read The Name of the Rose instead. I'm so almost done!!

'Dirty Girls'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Most of Alphabet City is a long hike to any subway stop, and traditionally was one of the skankiest parts of Manhattan, although that has changed a lot in the last decade.
It's also where "Rent" was set.
Of course, in the movie that put a subway station right on the edge of Tompkins Square Park. That was nice.
I lived there when it was terrifying. I don't know where poor NYU kids live now without spending money on transportation.
t resurrects briefly
It's also where Avenue Q got its name, right? A joke about not even being able to afford Ave. A-D?
t is ded again
I mean, how is this not of a piece with all the rest of the bombing of civilians and razing of refugee camps?
Well, it happened in Gaza, post-withdrawal, and it was in a clearly defined civilian zone -- not anywhere that civilians could have been casualties of bombs meant for militants. (Also, in that link you posted, many of the months that list "no Israeli deaths" had several, or they list only one of several.)
Lists are good things.
The show sounds like fabulous fun, Suzi.
Still working. Playing with sounds of WWI aircraft now.
During the last half an hour in ND's office, a brigade of soldiers marched by, a crowd went wild, it rained, and a WWI aircraft took off. At the moment, there's a dinner party going on.
Dating a sound designer is always an adventure.
Soon there will be flak, and then gunfire.
I'd run for cover, but seeing as I'm already ded, no point really.
send our applause to Cj , suzi.
