I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Raq, Is the shelf-stable stuff like the boxed milk or different?

I don't think I want to live in a fresh dairy free world. It's just wrong.

AAAAARGH.

The woman at United's phone reservations was making me CRAZY. I was *hoping* she would actually be *helpful*, but nooooooo---she had no idea what she was talking about.

See, United is all sold out of cheap frequent flier mile seats to Toronto. But USAir and Air Canada (partners of United) aren't. So I call up United to use my miles (can't book partners on the web). And she? Has no idea what she's talking about. USELESS.

Apparently if I had Air Canada miles (according to their website booking thingie) I could get the trip for 22.5K. But according to United lady, I can't. Because that's not what United charges. Even though it's not their flight. WTF?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Huh. So Cold Stone turned out to be closed, so there was no actual dessert to be had. But we wandered around San Mateo for over an hour.

And...that was it. I didn't try to make any overt moves because I'm not like that, but I didn't get any signals like I did last time. So it appears I angsted over nothing.

I am simultaneously relieved and bummed. Because while it does seem I don't have to worry about her wanting to date me...I would not have been averse to more smoochies. Fie on you women and your crazy mixed-up ways.

Calling airlines seems to be an exercise in futility. Always is for me at least...

Fie on you women and your crazy mixed-up ways.
But we're pretty. And soft. And we smell nummy. You expect more than this?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yes, I expect you to kiss me and make me feel worth kissing.

I find that the way to make this happen is to adopt imperious poses. Admittedly, this is over a relatively small sample size, to which I respond: hands off my sample.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Yay for Hil! That's an awesome score and well-deserved.

make me feel worth kissing.

Aw, P-C. Ouch. You are, of course, and there will be a girl who will help you feel that way. I wish it were now.

hands off my sample.

Hee!

I just finished the work that had to be done by tomorrow noon.

The babies and I have the Ick. I don't know who gave it to me, but I'm not liking it much.

Indeed. Because, Muppets. But is it as much fun without a room full of Buffistas to watch along? I ask you.
