But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

In keeping with my the quest for a completely anonymous account, I then went on to reply to not one but TWO people in my own LJ, while still logged on as fandomcommahate.

The chocolate shoes are adorable. Could this be a cure for PMS as we now know it?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Won't someone think of the commas??????

I went to the ortho/neuro doc this morning. I'm getting some epidural shots in the old spinal column and some physical therapy to see if that helps. This was apparently caused by an old stress fracture of the spine, resulting in a slipping of the L5 vertibra and hernation of the disc between L4 & L5. The nerve root coming out of L5 is getting pinched something awful. So...yay?

Oh, Cashmere, you poor woman. I can't really read what you're writing because my face is so busy cringing. I hope the treatment works.

Old stress fracture? Did you know about this before, or are you just finding out?

Copycat. That was my back issue. Though -- don't assume that the similarity means you'll need surgery -- I had *2* herniated discs absolutely obliterating (and that was the word used in the MRI report -- "obliterated") my nerve root.

Since yours is only 1 disc, the epidural steroids + PT should help A LOT.

Just finding out. She said this probably happened in my childhood or teenage years.

I had no "obliterates" on my report. So I'm hopeful that it'll just be a couple of epidural shots and some fun PT and I'll be back in the saddle again in no time.
