Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aimee: I'm so glad she's ok.

Raq: Gorgeous pictures. How did I mange to see you for only, like, two minutes in SF? These things need to be a whole week.

Fay: Mail me Tristan. He always sounded so naughty and sexy to me.

Sunil: Oh honey, I'm so sorry they can't seem to make ONE IOTA of an effort to know you for who YOU are. It's bad for you, and so unfair. But over time its worse for them -- they're missing out on a neat, funny, weird person who is RIGHT THERE. Silly fools.

Because books.

Aimee, that was a terrifying story! But yay on the directions-getting guys who looked out for her.

::waves at sj:: Feeling any better?

Mal is a total cutiehead. The "twu wuv" picture was adorable.

P-C, everything that Trudy and Sean just said. Try to remember that this is temporary, and that there are a lot of people who know just how smart and talented and responsible you are, and love you for it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am in someone's top 20 awesome people she knows. Maybe top 15. I told her she doesn't know enough people.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Feeling any better?

Nope. If someone could make the rain stop for at least a few days in a row my bone pain would go away, my sinuses would feel better, I could stop worrying about the roof leaking, and this depressive funk would lift a bit. t /whine

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am in someone's top 20 awesome people she knows. Maybe top 15. I told her she doesn't know enough people.

You are absolutely right. Once she gets to know more people and acquires a broader sense of just exactly where the baseline for the general population at large is, she'll have to revise you to somewhere in the top 3.

Aimee, thank goodness your sister had the presence of mind to stay in the bathroom. Scary!

Raq, I'm looking forward to checking out the pics at work on Monday. At home I am on dial-up, because I am a cheapskate.

PC, I'm sorry your family gives you grief. Can you tell them your working on the computer? An article, maybe?

Speaking of articles, ourt good friend who is a science writer has an article in National Geographic this month: [link]

It's a fabulously lovely day in Berkeley, but when I came home from yoga this morning my DH, the car, and his hang glider were gone. So I was "stuck" walking around the neighborhood spending money instead of going on a day hike or something. Hee!

Tempting. The DH is actually out at Ft. Funston, and, at the moment I can even see his glider (with the orange leading edge) set up: [link]

And he was thinking that he'd drive home the southern route b/c the bay bridge is one mell of a hess (as my mother says).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

scary night for Aimee's sister - hope it was the only one every.

Hope things work well for askye and the the rain eases up for sj.

and for P-C, I am guessing you are a lot quiter than the rest of you family. You were much quieter at the F2F than I expected ( This is not bad, just something I noticed). So they think you aren't participating. Now , this may be MY issue. Because I used to get this a lot . so a question are two... Uncle , how did your meeting go today? Aunt, tell me what spices are in this dish? might go along way to help. You know that when you move out, you will never see them enough to make them happy. so you gotta find some coping mechanisms. Anyway, they do care about you. they are in this wierd palce with you. they want you to be 'the man. the grown up . the example' yet at the same time you are the younger, the next generation, part of the children.

O f course, I'm just guessing. Everything I sad could be wrong like a wrong thing.

ION, I am not ded, but work tried to suck the life out of me today.

You totally should hop on Bart. I'll even drive over to Union City if you want.
