Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yes, you do need those boots. And they need you.
Aimee, that's really scary, I'm glad she's alright.
Aims!!! I'm so glad sis is alright! That was upsetting.
anything I can send from Yorkshire that you might like?
Now I'm curious about what Yorkshire-specific good stuff might be like. All I can think of is good Doctor Herriot, so I'm imagining there's an All Creatures Great & Small Shoppe on the Green with a Siegfried & Tristan Ye Olde Pub next door.
Glad to hear sister-of-Aimee was nothing more than scared by the bad guys. I hate to scuttle around avoiding trouble like a scaredy-cat (better to be a fearless superheroine and fight crime), but I must say, I'd really hesitate to gas up at night for fear of attracting attention I'd prefer to avoid.
My sister lives in a really small town that she's a bit too comfortable in. She forgets that while this particular gas station is in her small town, it's also a freeway exit off I-94. Lots of people go there. And some unsavory people. So, she's going to be on alert a lot more from now on.
I think an experience like that is sort of like having a minor fender-bender: it makes you more careful, and grateful besides. Like a wake-up call that makes you count your blessings.
Aimee, I'm so glad your sister is okay.
I went to the art park, there was a shop open near where I parked, but no one turned anything in. I got the number for someone who was doing security, I called and left him a message. He just called me back, no on turned anything in, but they might have turned it into the office which was open last night, but not today and he doesn't have keys for it, but he can check Monday.
Right now I think I'll have to call and report the cards and the check book stolen. This really sucks.
