You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Or you could spend your entire vacation damning yankees.

I can do that here.

Coding and Sleeping

I remember taking a class in computer simulation at my Texas university. The professor was illustrating the example of a stop light where queues were maintained for each direction the cars came from. The queues were East, West, South, and Yankee.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely start keeping a work-journal, but hopefully it won't be an issue for my future shifts. What a great experience.

JZ, you sound really cute today.

JZ will be happy to know that I just pinged Kim and she said there will be a gothy tinge to her wedding proceedings, and suggested Jacqueline might need a parasol. Also the wedding will take place surrounded by boxes of carniverous plants.

What is even happening?

I can do that here.

With air conditioning. For New England vacations, it goes like this:

Winter:

  • White Mountains of New Hampshire (and some of the range reaches into Maine)

  • Green Mountains of Vermont

Spring:

  • Anywhere, but bring an umbrella (stay out of the way northern areas until June)

Summer:

  • Coastal Maine

  • Coastal New Hampshire

  • Coastal Massachusetts (particularly Cape Cod & the Islands)

  • Rhode Island

  • I don't want to leave CT out, but I don't generally go there, so I'll say Coastal CT

Fall

  • Anywhere, but particularly the NH and VT mountains, and the Berkshires (western MA). Stay out of the more northern and mountainous areas after Halloween.
