[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Now I am wishing I had more than one cosmopolitan at dinner. I didn't even get tipsy on it.

I'll bet if you would have eliminated the dinner part like I did, things may have turned out differently. Leftover Easter chocolate is a wonderful thing, but does nothing for increasing tolerance of alcohol.

Our wings are not tired

I didn't have my requisite bakers dozen of drinks. There are days I really wish I were a cheap drunk.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I probably shouldn't have taken a four hour nap starting at 8pm.

I've never had a martini.

My alcohol is packed in a box because my kitchen is still not done. 3-4 days, my ass.

This would have helped. Usually I am quick to get drunk. I just need a couple of sips, but I ate way too much tonight. I think I am going to open a bottle of wine tomorrow when Dave is here. We have hardly seen each other this week because he has been packing at his place and I have been packing at mine.

I've never had a martini.

That's tragic! I might need to come to Chicago to fix that!

Heh. I've found a new way to inspire travel.

By all means, come to Chicago!

Kristin, I think we need to go to Chicago and get someone drunk on martinis.

I didn't used to be. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. At least a bottle of vodka will last a week now.

I think I am going to open a bottle of wine tomorrow when Dave is here.

A sound plan. A shared bottle of wine is a lucky bottle of wine.

The tragedy!

Group trip to Chicago, methinks.
