Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

juliana, if I hadn't already bought a dress, I would seriously consider that one!

I've been debating on whether I should get a crinoline to go under my prom dress. I tried to find a picture of it to link to, but no luck. I could use some advice when I get to SF if it would be better with or without. Hopefully, I'll have time either Friday or Saturday to work that out.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

There's an Orthodox Easter candlelit, er, service? parade? walk? going on outside my bedroom window. Sometimes, this area is just weird. Not that Orthodox Easter is weird, just having unexpected hymns floating in through the windows.

What is even happening?

They're coming for you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Orthodox Easter is why I used to know how to say "Christ is risen" in Russian. The sum total of my Russian vocabulary was goodbye, thank you, and Christ is risen. I never even learned "Hello".

But we didn't go for Good Friday or any of the fasting, just the feasting, so I don't know what the candles are all about.

My evening has been a total friggin disastor. This will not go down as a good day.

Totally unrelated, Mal is quite adorable.

I'm so sorry Gud.

Thanks. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I'll probably do something with the kids, so that part will be good at the very least.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, so sorry, Gud. Looking forward to spending tomorrow with the kids is nice though.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{Gud}}}

I smell good. Just took a lovely Lush soak.
