Buffy ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Darling vw, you are strong (like an Amazon!) but part of being strong is asking for help and taking the breaks you need. The movie sounds like a fabulous way to have spent the afternoon. Especially for a running away ball. Running away balls love them the comedy films.

Back to grinning Mal pics now.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for Mal pics. What a beautiful child. Not that it could have happened any other way with his beautiful mother. Just what I needed to perk me up after a long day, that isn't half over.

I didn't go to any of my reunions, if there were any. Would have been #30 a few years ago. I left town at 19 and they didn't. Whenever I visit home they are doing the exact same stuff they were 30 years ago. There was one girl a year ahead of me that I have kept in touch with. The rest of them I couldn't care less about. I had friends at the time, but I didn't go to school with them.

Yay for fun movie time!

VW not lying: you will make it.

Oh and for your amusement:

An email slipped past my spam filter from "Captain Incense".

What is even happening?

Cash, I'm pretty sure Raq's right about it. Your friend was not trying to snub you, she just didn't feel she could bring in another party to the outing, so she did not mention it at all. Of course, she is going to feel soooooo awkward when her hubby tells her he mentioned the zoo to you.

Cashmere, when I read your post, I was going to say what Raq said, and what Andi said. I've been made redundant, but there ya go.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jilli, or anyone else, what is the best place(s) to buy crinolines?

Well, that depends on how fluffy you want them. Sock Dreams [link] is good, as is Nancy's Petticoat Junction [link] .

Waitaminute, you're in/near SF. Head to Piedmont Boutique, on Haight. They should have a gazillion petticoats and crinolines.

Ooh, I could do that. I even have tentative plans with JZ and Hec in SF next weekend.

Thanks!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Piedmont (and the other slutty stocking store a few blocks up, the one we went to a couple weekends ago) has short crinolines, but if you want longer ones (say, midcalf, like for classic '50s dresses) you may have to look a bit harder.

Actually, my one set of midcalf crinolines has been looking tired and squashed lately, so, Jilli, if you have any suggestions I'm open. The fluffier the better, please.

Honestly? eBay. There are tons of shops on there that sell mid-calf crinolines. Yes, House of Vamp [link] has them, but there's a possible six-week wait time for them.
