Anyone speak better French than me?
Is porte verrouillée the proper phrase for "locked door"?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Erin, my high school French is long gone. I know you've got "porte" right, but the other? No clue.
I Babelfished it, but I know Babelfish sometimes smokes the monkeycrack, so I wanted fresh eyes.
Gronk.
Skimmed.
Household overtaken by GI ick. Lillian started it with a 9 hour vomit session Wed. night/Thur. morning. Then, Friday, Paul and I were both struck down. Bad. He'd taken the day off, but it hit me at work.
I'm mostly better, and can hold down both food and water. Paul's still not holding down either, last I checked. I think he's finally improving a little.
Gronk.
Can this last week get a fucking do-over?
Yowch. I am sorry to hear that Plei. We still never got the SF2F ick so I assume it wasn't us. Hopefully.
Oh no, Plei. Babies throwing up are so sad and so nasty (it's not like they understand aim). And you and Paul being sick, too? That's just awful.
When I haven't been able to keep anything down, I have usually been able to keep down crushed ice. If you have a blender (or something else that will crush ice) Paul could try 2-3 cubes at a time. Maybe once an hour. He shouldn't over-do it, though. If he doesn't keep down what he's trying to put back in, in order to rehydrate, he'll just get worse.
(Maybe think about taking a skip-over instead of a do-over.)
get instantly better ma~~~~

There's a GI bug going around. Lillian probably picked it up at school and passed it on to us.
Oh, ugh, Ple. Fast-recovery~ma to you all.
Also, to Beej. I get in and get out with posts and often forget to ~ma folks. I didn't mean to, honestly! I've never had Mono, but I sympathize, nonetheless. Any long illness sucks.
Rabbits are great pets. I had one when I was a preteen and we were very close. He got out and got hit by a car, though, which was a sad close on a tough year. Hec, I guess I wasn't aware that you had touched us enough to even form a baseline or anything. Although I'd volunteer fairly cheerfully for further research.
