Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

My headache's coming back. Someone make it STOP!

What is even happening?

Honestly, though, I'm with the "talk? now?" crowd. Don't promise anything you can't give, but enjoy what you can give and receive. You might even become open to things that seem unwanted now. Even if I was on the same page as the guy, if he started a talk after one night of kisses, I'd think he was neurotic, and be put off.

P-C, I'm still with ita. But now I have to go trawl the March archive of your lj, to see who this girl is, because I'm nosy like that.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

In some cultures, you're already betrothed.

Hee. I'm also betrothed to, like, three other girls too, then. That was one polygamous pizza.

Don't promise anything you can't give, but enjoy what you can give and receive.

That sounds good.

See, I sort of read it as, "don't want this to be more," which is why I turned in the communicate direction. As soon as you know that in your own head, it's time to say something.

But so does that.

Blarg. Cindy, my feelings are basically, "Aaah! I'm good for making out, but that's all I'm good for, really! At least right now, with you, as far as I can tell, in my head!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At least right now, with you, as far as I can tell, in my head!

Then keep hush. Just do. Watch what you do, but do.

What is even happening?

Then my final answer: listen to ita, P-C. You haven't really dated. You're just starting to live an adult life (working for reals, etc.). You're not with your own parents. You're not in school. You just moved. You have a million new things going on, at once. You have confidence issues, and uncertainties. These are part and parcel of dating.

I almost didn't accept my first real date with Scott, because I didn't want to lead him on.

I'm just sayin'...

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm with Cindy. Even if we don't talk that much, you and I, and I don't expect you respect my opinion. If, after one round of kisses, he wanted to Talk, I'd feel too serious, and the kissage? Much less fun.

That's a silly thing to say. I do respect your opinion.

If, after one round of kisses, he wanted to Talk, I'd feel too serious, and the kissage? Much less fun.

Yarr.

Yes, that's true, too. It can spoil the kissage, which is just WRONG so early on.

I LOVE first kisses. Scott's been away all week (in Tampa since Sunday night). He just called and is getting an earlier flight home. It's like first kisses all over again.

Oh and P-C, I think I figured out who it is. I'm going to e-mail you at your profile address, to see if I'm right.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Just enjoy the kissin.
