Yay, Stephen!
Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I thought we were drinking that coffee/tequila stuff - no?
The Patron? Very possibly.
Maybe she's still drinking it. On the sly. You know how those addicts are.
Am not. (Checks cup, finds Rooibos tea from Nicole). Nope, no Fernet at work. Wait - why am I assuming she is talking to me. I wasn't the one pushing the Fernet - Cindy must be talking to juliana.
Nicole - ROCKIN tea. Thanks bunches.
Yay, for Stephen, AmyLiz! ::does a little happy dance:: The buffista~ma is the best!
ION, they finally hired another test technician for my department. Whoot! I'm sure my other tech must be wiping his brow in relief, the poor bugger was putting in 10 hours days while I was gone and still not keeping up. No fault of his, it's the end of the month and they're dumping on us hugely in order to make budget.
The Patron? Very possibly.
Well, clearly I'm going to have to buy a bottle of each to find out which one I liked so much.
::does a little happy dance::
I'm doing my happy dance very cautiously, since my clogged ears are completely frelling my balance.
He'd heard (as I told some of you in SF) that it was thisclose to official last week, but getting the actual offer and the start date is still a Very Good Thing.
Yay Stephen! Yay for good news!
Congratulations to Stephen!!
I, too, would like to know how to pronounce Fernet. I'm not sure about tasting it. Oh, hell, of course I would.
d, that cartoon was too perfect, and I've forwarded it to friends who will appreciate it to no end. Because they've suffered, eyes glazed, through conversations just like it.
Today was my last day of external radiation, yipee!! I'm celebrating with a reuben, fries, and a chocolate malted in a few minutes. Which I'll probably pay for later, but I don't care.
Loving all the pictures from F2F. Sorry for the ick, though.
There should be more good news, for everyone.
::stamps foot:: I demand it!
Fantastic news AmyLiz. Congrats to Stephen!
Brenda - let me know when you are taste testing, I'll be there!
I was thinking that I could do mine on teaching abstinence vs. birth control in public schools.
From way back, but continuing the alchohol talk, I originally read this as absinthe vs. birth control in public schools. I SO need this long weekend.
