Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jars, if SA doesn't get ot it--BUNAC is the organization, if you google it you should find it. They do visas for UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia for Americans...but you have to have just graduated college, and not sure if you can have gone to college outside the US, but...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I really don't think Suzi wants me as her theater date to Rent, as I'm liable to stand up and yell "Your art sucks! Go get a real fucking job! Millions of artists have to have a day job, so suck it up! QUIT FUCKING WHINING!!!!!"

That tends to put a damper on the rest of the night.

Like the damper it put on my evening the time a friend in college (who just happened to be the Brit-Lit Prof's daughter) and I went to see the drama dept.'s production of Romeo and Juliet, the seats we had were Right. Up. Front. and the stage was so small I had to clamp my hands over my mouth to keep from yelling, "Don't do it, Romeo! Can't you see she's still breathing?" Because nothing about the production gave me any reason to want to pretend she wasn't.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have almost as little patience for R&J as I do for the people in Rent. Stoopid teenagers.

Our wings are not tired.

I was thinking that I could do mine on teaching abstinence vs. birth control in public schools.

Always a good subject for the persuasive essay. I always had to know the opinion of the instructor in advance because I was all about the grades.

Let me tell ya how much I needed the 5 days in SF. I got home last night at about 12:30am. Up at 6:30am to do the car pool thing. 2nd school transport at 9:00am. I stopped at the office after the first run to pick up the mail from the last week and transfer the phones to my cell. Did the work thing all day. No, I have not unpacked. Kid pick up at 2:20pm. Kid pick up at 4:20pm. At 5:00pm Brendon lets me know that we have Sports Banquet at his school 6:30-8:30. I get back to the hood at 9:00pm and run over to my book group that has discussed the book I actually read for the last couple hours. The book discussion is over and the planning of the block party in a couple weeks is in session. Home now looking at the Lost tape that will not happen this day since only 15 minutes left in the day. But I did get a free bunny for Bobby from one of the girls that has 2 left unclaimed.

And I thought when I got home that I would catch a nap some time during the day. Hee.

And yet I think I need to unwind before crashing and doing it again.

The status is NOT quo.

We're waiting in line for the midnight showing of x-men. It's 9:30. It better be good.

Blimey. Is that really worth it?
