Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea, is that the brother *I* get?

A world of no. This is the one with the case of voluntary Tourette's syndrome.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I stopped, really! I also found a mower on Craigslist and will be picking it up Friday evening.

Good timelies!

I hope the vet visit is fast and painless for you both, vw.

Aidan will be hopping on the bus in a few minutes, and then I'm off to the grocery store.

Someone smack me repeatedly until I do the work that's already three days late? Please?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. Party was fabulous last night. Too much food and too much drink.

Suzi, congratulations on the laptop!

Jars, go do your work!

Thrive to spite them

I think I'm being irrational this morning about leters to the editor. The paper is running a special series of letters about race relations here in town. Fifty years ago there was a bus boycott and the town has honored this in various ways. The paper is also running letters written at the time both approving of the boycott and calling for equality and letters against the boycott and trying to keep the status quo and pro segregation.

However, all the pro segregation letters printed have been by women and the rebuttal letters have been by men and it just makes me feel uncomfortable, like the women are representing an irrational view point and the men are representing a more rational view point. I ended up sending a quick note to the editor, but ... I worry that I'm being over sensitive.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Thanks sj. I think I'll just cower in the corner and let Kristin pet me. I have been wanting one for a while and want just bumped up to need. Still - never owned a laptop. Not sure why it scares me, but it does.

Why am I at work when my bed is so comfy?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I now have coffee.

Sorry for last night's whine. My coping abilities are... diminished.

Even though I still have Teh Ick, and my commuter train this morning was delayed a half hour, and I had a fasting blood test this morning, I will endeavor to be a more positive person! Because the alternative is just sucking. Also, I have coffee now, and that is an excellent development in the day. It's also beautiful out.

Also, the mildew smells permeating the house seem to be dissapating.

Also, THREE DAY WEEKEND coming up!
