Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

vw, green and brown definitely go together, pretty much without exception.

~ma for Hil and Windsparrow.

And all the gronk for me. Really trying to avoid having coffee, but I don't think it's going to work.

Oh, and good travel vibes for Fay.

What is even happening?

vw, they're earth tones. Go for it.

Fay has been dropped off at the airport. Hopefully by now, she has cleared security and is setling down to have a lovely breakfast somewhere within the confines of SeaTac airport.

Bless.

Oh, good. See, I'm not such a brown person, but I LOVE these new pants I bought. They are SO comfy. But, I'm not sure what in my current wardrobe matches, so I come ask my hivemind.

My room is destroyed for the exterminators. I think I may sleep on the couch tonight, as I can't see my bed anymore.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

THanks, Aillean - I survived the 3 hours of work. And I think I remembered everything that needed to get done. Except the fire drill. I looked on the calendar and noticed that we were scheduled to do one this morning, but no way was I up to that. So, when I talked to the supervisor this morning I apologized for being "the weanie who doesn't do firedrills". She was very understanding about it, as it was the first time I'd been on my own with the residents.

vw, think trees: bark and leaves. If green and brown together are good enough for Mother Nature, they are good enough for us. I use that one for blue and green - grass and sky, too.

Debet, I did see that part. So, that was it, right?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Safe journey, Fay. I adore that reading of Wolves in the Walls--I could listen to Fay all day.

Stephanie, I hope the dogs have a safe and easy journey. Flying coach is bad enough, but flying baggage class must suck. I hope they can sleep through it. FWIW, a friend of mine has moved back and forth from Switzerland twice with her two dogs and they both did very well on that very, very long flight.

vw, I just bought brown pants last night! yay for earthtones. I'm wearing them with a matching brown & pink striped shirt for the interview today. Plus, I got sexy brown shoes to match.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Interview~ma, Cashmere.

{{{Windsparrow}}} I hope you have a restful night's sleep tonight.

{{{Hil}}} Feel better.

Safe passage~ma to Stephanie's dogs.

I don't want to go to therapy today. If I didn't have to go down to RI to get the rest of the food for the party, I would have cancelled already.

T officially booked her flight to Dallas for June 12th. I have been having nightmare's about her leaving for three nights in a row. I hate this. I called her last night when I was having a mini meltdown, and when Dave got home he said, "see you can still always call her for stuff like that", which is a little bit of a comfort.
