Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My DH, btw, upon leaving Deb's yesterday afternoon said, "That really is one cute kid," about your Em. His compliments about kids should not be taken lightly, as the last picture Jeff opened of the four children fathered by one of his best friends from college got this reaction, "Wow, none of them are ever going to win any beauty contests."

BWAH! Tell him thank you. Em and I received some amazing compliments this weekend.

Yes. Yes I did.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Anybody around? I can't sleep, again. (I slept until noon today. I have a feeling that my schedule has gotten off enough that I'm just going to have to totally skip sleep for one night to get back on a normal schedule for the next night.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Boo. Two more days until I next see the Wallybee. It's not fair! Meanwhile, we're travelling up to Canberra on the next long weekend (mid-June), and D's girlfriend wanted to know if it was an engagement visit. And whether the Wallybee wanted children. (Would that be Wallybubs? Billybees? Mole rats!)

The status is NOT quo.

Hil, I'm around for a few more minutes. I need to be trying to go back to sleep shortly, but I'm still up now. What's up?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mmmnph. I fell asleep early which was kinda lovely. But then I woke up. Less shiny.

Mole rats! (Okay, when there are actual potential kidlings coming? We need a better name.)

1. The only person talking kids is my dad's nosy girlfriend, in which she is way ahead of herself, and
b) Better than mole rats?!?

There's a really nice rainstorm, with thunder even, outside. Time for me to go back to bed. While convincing the cats that the world is likely not ending as they have expressed concern.

Mom sent me IKEA tealights. Spent as much on postage as the candles cost. And yet? Still a bargin for 200 lovely tealights.
