Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Andi and I watched Bubba Ho-Tep tonight. My second time, her first.

Still wacky, but in a good way..

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, Hil, that's the best homemade yarn I have ever seen.

All right, what manner of bet did Pete lose?

My exact thought.

Then again, East Coast, decidely sans-F2F, sleepless suspicion could be at play here.

eta: Second thought...the manner of the bet may have involved trading a board post of the most hated word in lieu of some sort of disrobement.

chin in hand hmmmmm. or maybe that's just wishful choosing

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What? Pete's stripping?

Eh? Eh?

(I am too bleary-eyed from Sick Baby to go back and re-read closer.)

(But I'm certain I must have read wrong.)

(Because Pete's clothes? Molded on like an action figure. )

(For reals! You just swap the bottoms out at the waist point of articulation if you need a different pair of trousers.)

(Please do not destroy my elaborate fiction. It sustains me.)

Oh Plei, may I pleeeeeze tag the elaborate fiction line? That is so my reality...plus being incredulously awake at nearly 3am.

And oh, poor baby, (both of you) so sorry for the sick-wakeness.

You cracked me up with the action figure Pete. Don't know him, but can completely believe the molding notion.

He just stated that he's 'adorable.' Something is afoot.

Sure!

I think Peev musta left himself logged in. He'd never willingly use the A word about himself, the silly man.

aHA!

My deductive reasoning (and Karl's, to be precise) did not take into account the possiblity of simple sabotage. Brilliant!

blintz

I must at least pretend to try and sleep or the sleep manufacturer's union might take my card away and then I won't be able to attend any of the meetings! Then again, no more paying my dues!!

Okay, now I'm just delirious.

'night

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Lovely yarn, Hil. My upstairs neighbor has started making yarn with camel (hair? wool?) and I'm terribly tempted, but will. not. take. up. another. craft.

Ah, the F2F quietude. Bronzers used to hold a Sour Grapes Party on the board when the big posting board party occurred. I'm not so much sour grapes as waiting with baited breath the details of F2F hijinx along with picture foaminess.

I think I may be just a little bit sour grapes, in the best possible way. Although, I guess it's lambic beer, not wine, so I think I may be sour black currants instead.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What? Pete's stripping?

No, that was P-C. And MM. (but not ND. Go figure.) Peev did get his ass goosed several times. Each time the woman waited expectantly for the Wrath O' Pete and got in return an appreciative smile.

High point of the evening for me? Aside from being smushed into a corner of beautiful women who were all trying to kiss each other? When we got off the ferry from Alcatraz, Emmett picked up Emeline and very carefully carried her off. And she was content with him. When he told me his arms were getting tired, I took her and he shook his arms twice and said, "Okay, I can take her back now."
